Summary

We are seeking a part time Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team at ABT Water Management. In this role, you will be essential in managing the flow of materials and products within our distribution operations, ensuring timely and accurate shipping and receiving processes.

Responsibilities

•

Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips.

•

Prepare outgoing shipments by packing products securely and labeling them appropriately.

•

Work with ABT's Project Manager to track client merchandise returns and to ship items under warranty to vendors for repair or replacement.

•

Manage inventory levels by tracking stock movements at the office.

•

Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.

•

Coordinate with logistics providers to schedule pickups and deliveries.

•

Coordinate with Accounting to make sure shipments are billed out accurately and quickly.

•

Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety standards.

•

Assist with inventory counts and reporting discrepancies as needed.

Requirements

•

Proven experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations is preferred.

•

Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment.

•

Ability to operate material handling equipment safely (e.g., pallet jack, reach truck).

•

Ability to perform basic calculations related to inventory, order fulfillment and shipping costs.

•

Basic computer skills (Outlook, Shopify, UPS, FedEx).

•

Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
