Job Description

We are seeking a mechanically inclined highly organized Shop Coordinator to join our team. The Shop Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day shop operations. Coordinate with other departments, work with transportation, operations, and safety departments to ensure proper execution of work.


Shipping / receiving

Forklift / zoom boom operation
Yard inventory management, responsible for maintaining accurate records of all equipment and supplies in the yard
Assist projects team with coordinating hotshot / shipping vendors
Manage shipping documentation
Work with projects team on readying and shipping equipment load lists


Facilitate equipment maintenance / readiness

Work with projects team on maintenance / green tag requirements
Develop, implement, and manage a preventative maintenance program to minimize equipment downtime
Coordinate necessary repair work with equipment vendors


Equipment procurement

Present quotes and timelines for equipment requirements
Issue purchase orders
Monitor supply stock within the office/yard and place orders as needed


Safety & Compliance

Lead daily safety meetings
Maintaining a safe environment for customers and employees.
Complying with safety regulations and handling hazardous materials safely.

What Skills and Training Do You Need?

Strong mechanical aptitude with hands on experience maintaining and repairing equipment.


Pump and Hydraulics experience preferred.


Forklift or Zoom boom Ticket required.

Experience in a physically demanding role; Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly on shift and throughout the shift.

Ability to develop maintenance schedules and implement shop systems.

Excellent safety record with experience in oil and gas on project worksites.

Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and execute tasks with limited supervision.
