Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Shop Fabricator/Powder Coater to join our team. As a Powder Coater, you will be responsible for applying powder coating to various metal surfaces using specialized equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently to produce high-quality finished products.

Duties:

- Create Custom Box Enclosures

-Use tools like saws, drill presses and grinders to cut, bend and shape metal components

- Apply powder coating to metal surfaces according to specifications

- Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary

- Operate powder coating equipment safely and effectively

- Monitor the coating process to ensure uniform coverage and adherence

- Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary touch-ups or adjustments

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

Skills:

- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools

- Knowledge of welding, building, and machining techniques

- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of sheet metal properties

- Ability to assemble components accurately

- Strong attention to detail and quality control

- Must be able to lift over 50lbs over head

-Must have clean driving record- delivery of finished products is required
