Responsibilities

Our Solar Installer job responsibilities include pulling inventory, pre-assembling components, conducting solar module layout and assembly, mounting racking hardware and solar modules, installing electrical conduit and wiring, documenting installation progress, cleaning up the job site, attending training sessions, maintaining safety standards and performing additional duties as needed.

Requirements

· Some construction, electrical, roofing or similar trade experience preferred

· Previous solar installation experience, solar technical training or NABCEP PV Associate certification certainly welcomed, but not necessary

· Must be able to lift 50+ pounds

· Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs, work on rooftops and able to work on your feet for long periods of time

· Ability to work in personal protection equipment

· Excellent communication and customer service skills

· Commitment to safety

· High school diploma or GED required

· Valid state driver’s license with clean DMV driving record (example, no DUI in the last 5 years)

· All candidates must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background and drug screen

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
