Solar Technician - Long Draw Solar Site

What You Can Expect

ENGIE North America is hiring a Solar Technician for our Long Draw Solar Site located near Gail, TX. Your daily responsibilities begin with accessing tasks via SCADA, Maximo, or various SAP software systems and repairing, troubleshooting, and fulfilling technical repair work orders for solar panels. You will manage documentation, update parts inventory, and as well as submit on-site status reports, including daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, and initiate work orders for equipment repair

You will also be a part of an on-call rotation for outages and emergencies; therefore, you must reside within 50 miles of the site.

Additional Details

The position consists of 30% work indoors and 70% work outdoors; outdoor work may expose the employee to weather conditions

Compensation

Salary Range: $32.40- $43.18 USD hourly

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan and emergency or on-call pay.
