Position Summary:

Keystone Kitchens INC, a premier custom cabinetry manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Cabinet Finisher with demonstrated expertise in both painting and staining wood products. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for craftsmanship, and experience with high-end finishing techniques in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

•

Prepare wood surfaces for finishing using sanding, filling, and conditioning methods.

•

Mix, match, and apply stains, sealers, glazes, and topcoats using spray, brush, and wipe techniques.

•

Apply painted finishes including primers, pigmented lacquers, and specialty coatings with HVLP and air-assisted sprayers.

•

Maintain color consistency and quality across production runs and custom orders.

•

Touch-up and repair minor defects, ensuring a flawless final product.

•

Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and uphold high aesthetic standards.

•

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized finishing booth and work area.

•

Follow all safety and material handling protocols for chemicals and equipment.

Qualifications:

•

3+ years of experience in cabinet or wood product finishing, with proven skill in both painting and staining.

•

Proficiency in HVLP and other spray equipment operation.

•

Strong understanding of wood species, grain patterns, and how different finishes interact with each.

•

Ability to match colors and sheens precisely using custom mixes and samples.

•

Familiarity with catalyzed conversion varnishes, lacquers, and waterborne finishes is a plus.

•

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship.

•

Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
