High Voltage (HV) Substation Superintendent – Grant County, NM

This HV Substation Superintendent will manage the construction of a high voltage substation supporting a 252 MW wind project featuring 56 Vestas V163 turbines. Responsibilities include overseeing structural, electrical, and grounding activities, ensuring the substation is delivered to utility interconnection standards.

Responsibilities:

•

Manage substation construction, including steel, breakers, transformers, and controls

•

Coordinate testing, QA/QC, and energization activities

•

Collaborate with utility and engineering teams on interconnect requirements

•

Enforce compliance with safety and electrical codes

Qualifications:

•

5+ years in HV substation supervision (69kV–345kV)

•

Strong understanding of utility standards and commissioning protocols

•

Wind energy or Vestas project experience is a plus
