Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial settings

- Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to determine the layout of electrical wiring and components

- Perform electrical installations, including wiring, conduit, fixtures, and switches

- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements

- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations

- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters and plumbers, to complete projects on time and within budget

- Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentice electricians

Requirements:

- Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification

- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage applications

- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints

- Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve electrical issues

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, contractors, and other tradespeople

- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Note: Experience in maintenance services, frame carpentry, or renovation work is a plus but not required for this specific position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
