Vac Truck Operator - Experienced

Atlantic Pipe Services is seeking talented and driven personnel in the Trenchless Pipeline Industry. We are currently seeking experienced Vac Truck drivers with a CDL class “A” or “B” license to join the APS team at our “newest” Division being assembled in the Marion, Sumter & Lake, Tri-County area in Central Florida! This will be a full-time position.

Vac-Truck Operator

•

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

•

Valid Florida Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License

•

Current DOT Medical Card.

•

Clean Driving History.

•

2-3 Years’ experience operating Vac Truck preferred.

•

Pipeline/Manhole Rehabilitation experience preferred (not required).

•

Able to work regular hours (6:00AM – 5:00 PM). Occasional night and weekend work. Out of town work may apply.

•

Handling of specialized and fragile equipment.

•

Responsible for the safe and professional operation of a Vac Truck unit(s) to clean underground storm & sanitary lines, collections boxes and manholes using hydraulic jetter and vacuum equipment.

Must be comfortable working outside year- round in all types of weather

•

Exposure to varying levels of physical activities. Standing, crouching, walking, crawling. Capable of heavy lifting up to 50 pounds or more

Data entry (Daily logs using electronic tablets, tracking information from hob sites, issues encountered, etc.)
