Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Lead to join our team. The Warehouse Lead will oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring that all processes are conducted smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
•Lead and supervise warehouse staff when field personnel are scheduled to work in the Warehouse.
•Train new employees on procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
•Update and review daily maintenance logs
•Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and timely replenishment.
•Oversee company fleet maintenance (equipment/truck maintenance, inspection/registrations).
•Oversee the receiving, storing, and shipping of products while adhering to safety standards and best practices.
•Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance productivity and safety.
•Conduct regular inspections of the warehouse and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
•Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
•Manage order fulfillment processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products.
•Oversee facilities/building maintenance
•Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise in the warehouse.
•Other duties as required.
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected situations calmly.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management software.
• Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks.
Additional Notes
• Must be able to maintain a valid DOT medical card.
• Shifts are typically 8 hours per day. Operations are not always suspended during after hours, weekends, holidays or emergencies; must be willing to be available to work as needed.
• Occasional travel required to job sites to provide maintenance assistance or parts delivery.
