Position Summary

A front-line Water Operations Supervisor position that is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of water withdrawal, transfer, transportation and reuse for water related field operations. The Water Supervisor is to maintain frontline accounting of water movements and consumption and ensure all operations are completed within approved safety, operating and regulatory guidelines.



Responsibilities

Responsible for the day-to-day oversight of water withdrawal, transfer, transportation and reuse for water related field operations.
Coordination and supervision of transfer and transport contractors.
First point of contact for basic daily coordination of water movement activities; may escalate issue to higher level if it has a major impact on production, safety, environmental, etc. May coordinate directly with trucking company or service provider to relocate water off of site.
Maintain frontline accounting of water movements and consumption via third party consulting firm; responsible for relaying information to the office. Routinely monitors and records water resource meter readings and logs on a weekly basis.
Ensure all operations are completed within approved safety, operating and regulatory guidelines. And that any related contract crews have been trained on safety and are complaint with safety expectations.
Maintenance responsibilities for meter vaults.
Ensure all operations are completed within approved regulatory, operating, environmental, and safety standards.
Conduct pre-operations meetings with service providers.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements: Minimum Education - High School Diploma or G.E.D. or B.S. in Biology or Environmental Sciences)


Minimum Experience - 1 year experience with college degree or 3 years experience if H.S. Diploma. Experience is preferred in water transfer or environmental science in the oil and gas industry but not required. Conditions of Employment

Working Conditions: Working conditions vary based on the location of the work performed. Work performed in an office is typically in a climate controlled indoor setting. Work performed in the field may require the employee to be subjected to seasonal field conditions ranging from normal to extreme temperature and weather conditions and employees must be able to work in remote, isolated areas.
