Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Water Treatment Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water treatment processes, wastewater treatment, and heavy equipment operation. This role is essential for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of water treatment facilities, maintaining equipment, and adhering to environmental regulations.
Responsibilities
•
Operate and maintain water treatment systems, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
•
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on treatment equipment to ensure optimal performance.
•
Conduct wastewater treatment processes, including monitoring chemical levels and adjusting as necessary.
•
Utilize heavy equipment for various tasks related to water treatment operations.
•
Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed to minimize downtime.
•
Maintain accurate records of operations, maintenance activities, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
•
Collaborate with team members to build effective solutions for operational challenges.
•
Utilize distributed control systems for monitoring and controlling treatment processes.
•
Apply basic math skills for calculations related to chemical dosing and flow rates.
Requirements
•
Experience in water treatment or wastewater treatment is preferred.
•
Proficiency in operating heavy equipment is a plus.
•
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform equipment repairs.
•
Familiarity with plumbing systems is advantageous.
•
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
•
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
•
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
•
Willingness to learn new technologies and processes related to water treatment operations.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
