Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Welder to join our team at CellTech Cargo. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing welding tasks in the fabrication and assembly of cargo-related structures and components. The role requires precision, safety-consciousness, and attention to detail in ensuring the quality and integrity of the welded products.
Responsibilities
•
Ensure welding procedures and techniques comply with industry standards and company specifications.
•
Maintain quality control and conduct inspections to ensure all welded components meet structural integrity and design requirements.
•
Abide by safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and workplace safety protocols.
•
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce material waste.
•
Troubleshoot welding defects and implement corrective actions as needed.
•
Ensure equipment and tools are properly maintained and calibrated.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
•
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or technical degree in welding technology, fabrication, or a related field preferred.
•
Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and equipment used in trailer frame fabrication.
•
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
•
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
•
Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance (OSHA, ANSI, AWS, etc.).
•
Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
•
Experience with MIG welding, flux-core welding, and structural steel fabrication preferred.
•
Proficiency in using welding tools, measuring instruments, and fabrication machinery.
•
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Work Environment:
•
Manufacturing setting with exposure to welding fumes, noise, and heavy machinery.
•
Requires standing for extended periods, lifting heavy materials, and working in varying temperatures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
Shift:
