Working Shop Foreman

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Working Shop Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in shop management and be proficient in project scheduling, blueprint reading, and estimating. If you have experience in overseeing mechanical shops and ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate jobs from start to finish

- Oversee daily operations of shop

- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are met

- Collaborate with other team members

- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations

-Training team members

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Working Shop Foreman or similar role in the automotive/diesel mechanic industry

- Proficiency in project scheduling, blueprint reading, and estimating

- Knowledge of Microsoft office, Excel, Word and QuickBooks

- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

-General knowledge of electrical, air systems, hydraulic systems a must
