We are looking for a team player that can operate a variety of tools and machinery to fit the needs of our growing company. The Welder will be responsible for fabricating metal parts and equipment according to specifications, in addition to maintaining quality control records and ensuring that all welds are completed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

•

Welding procedures and techniques as specified in blueprints and specifications.

•

Use welding equipment and tools for planning, layout, and preparation of welding procedures, considering the structural characteristics of materials being welded.

•

Select type and grade of electrodes or other filler metals, operating conditions, and equipment settings such as current density or arc voltage.

•

Understands different types of welding processes and procedures; be knowledgeable of commonly used symbols, terms, and definitions.

•

Be able to explain weld-related safety rules, regulations, practices, and hazards.

•

Use mathematical formulas related to welding to solve problems; read blueprints; interpret specifications.

•

Be able to lay out weld joints; file blueprints; lay out ground wire; plan weld path; layout welds on structural members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
