The Analyst I/Energy Efficiency is an individual contributor involved in ongoing supervised activities within the functional area. This entry-level position performs a wide variety of activities, including collecting and reporting program metrics and developing an understanding of the Company’s public utility codes, commission orders, energy efficiency programs, research collection practices, and energy conservation messages. The analyst is able to convey that information to various Company employees and outside entities, as necessary.
POSITION DIMENSIONS
This position assists with tracking and reporting program budgets but does not have accountability for people.
QUALIFICATIONS
There are broad precedents and practices that the incumbent uses as guidelines to determine how this job is performed. This position requires one to three years of relevant work experience plus a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in economics, accounting, finance, statistics, public administration political science or similar field; or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential job responsibilities. Candidates should demonstrate strong technical writing, analytical problem solving, knowledge of spreadsheet software, and ability to perform in self-directed and collaborative environments.
