Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking an Applications Developer in Midland, TX, reporting to the IT Director of E&P Systems

The position will be responsible for enabling low-code/no-code applications, automating workflows and architecting scalable solutions across the company. The ideal candidate will have strong technical as well as communication skills and be able to contribute his/her expertise while working on multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

General Responsibilities

•

Enable business operations with custom tools and apps that provide intuitive access to data, streamlined task execution, and process visibility.

•

Build and deploy responsive, user-friendly Power Apps solutions that digitize and automate manual field and back-office processes (e.g., inspection checklists, field ticketing, asset management).

•

Automate workflows and processes using Power Automate, integrating with internal tools, SharePoint, email, and business systems.

•

Recommend tools, design patterns, and best practices for app development and integration

•

Use robust, secure API integrations to connect enterprise systems, cloud services, and user-facing tools.

•

Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and data developers to deliver cohesive, production-ready solutions.

•

Own the full lifecycle of application delivery from technical design and development to testing, documentation, deployment, and support.

•

Mentor junior team members and help establish standards and reusable components for broader solution development.

•

Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

•

Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Required Qualifications

•

BS/BA in Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience.

•

5+ years of IT expertise in systems integration, software development, and/or solution engineering.

•

3+ years of oil and gas industry experience.

•

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse)

Preferred Qualifications

•

Hands-on experience with API development and integration in enterprise environments.

•

Knowledge of Databricks, Azure SQL, Python and DAX (or equivalent tools) a plus

•

Experience working with structured/unstructured data from industrial sources (e.g., sensors, PLCs, SCADA).
