Apprentice Instructor

About the Role:

The Electric Line Apprentice Instructor will teach classes in GSWC's Department of Labor-approved lineman apprenticeship programs. The apprenticeship training program includes underground and overhead distribution, transmission and substation disciplines. The Instructor must understand how these disciplines work together and is expected to provide trainees with the support they need to learn and excel in the trade. Company Overview

Essential Functions* Develop, organize, conduct and evaluate technical training programs

About You: Qualifications* Must be a Journeyman Lineman (minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Journeyman)

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities* Advanced knowledge of transmission line construction, substation construction, distribution construction, and renewable energy projects

What We Offer: Compensation & Benefits* Salary $71100-$106600 / year + Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
