Job Summary:
Croatan Custom Homes is hiring an Entry-Level Assistant Site Superintendent to support the construction of high-quality custom homes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some hands-on construction experience who is looking to build a career in residential construction management. The role involves working directly with experienced superintendents to learn all aspects of job site coordination, quality control, and day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Support the Site Superintendent in managing daily on-site construction activities
•
Help review and interpret house plans, site plans, and construction specs
•
Maintain job site cleanliness, organization, and safety
•
Monitor work progress and report updates or issues to the Superintendent
•
Track materials, tools, and site resources to support efficient project flow
Qualifications:
•
Some residential construction experience (framing, carpentry, or general labor is a plus)
•
Basic understanding of construction processes and tools
•
Willingness to learn how to read blueprints and site plans
•
Strong work ethic, reliability, and a desire to grow in the field
•
Good communication and organizational skills
•
Must have reliable transportation
•
Must supply own basic hand tools
Physical Requirements:
•
Ability to work on active construction sites in all weather conditions
•
Capable of lifting materials, walking uneven terrain, and standing for long periods
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
