WGL - Associate Energy Planning Analyst

Associate Energy Planning Analyst will support long, mid and short term planning, which includes the design day creation, storage inventory planning, monthly and daily demand forecasting. This work includes planning for daily purchasing activity, in compliance with delivery contracts, and partake in facilitating the choice retail, interruptible, and asset optimization programs. This position is also responsible for rotating through and learning the different Energy Acquisition functions and will get engaged with analytical projects – which will include the development of data models to support the planning processes and decision making. The successful candidate will also work on an on-call schedule as needed.

You Will:* Support the daily, monthly and annual analysis, planning and forecasting of CSP system demands and deliveries

You Must Have:* Bachelor's Degree business administration, economics, finance, engineering or closely related field required

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $94,250 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and skills. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
