HIS Constructors, Inc is seeking to add a qualified and experienced Bridge Construction Superintendents to our team. The position serves as the site manager and primarily manages Bridge Projects. Experience in mass excavation, trenching and shoring, utilities and/or waste water treatment is a bonus.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
•
Independently manage projects from start to completion.
•
Supervise, mentor, manage employees
•
Implement and utilize labor and production schedules.
•
Maintain scope of work within the estimate and budget.
•
Work as the site safety officer when needed.
•
Document daily and weekly project activities
•
Maintain good relations with clients and resolve issues in a professional manner.
•
Log labor, equipment hours, completed quantities and other activities onsite
•
Ensure that all equipment onsite is properly cared for and maintained.
•
Travel when required.
•
Any other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
•
Working knowledge of earth moving equipment
•
Valid Driver's License
•
able to use Microsoft word, excel, outlook
•
Excellent Communication and time management skills
•
Goal and detail driven
•
Professional
•
Strong problem solving skills
•
Ability to travel extensively
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
•
Degree in related field OR equivalent industry experience.
•
3 or more years experience in bridge construction
