CAD Draftsman

The CAD Draftsman will be responsible for creating detailed design drawings and plans for commercial and residential projects using CAD software. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, precision, and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers, architects, and project managers.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled CAD Draftsman to join our team.

Essential Functions:

+ Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings for commercial and residential projects using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.). + Interpret architectural and engineering specifications and convert them into accurate technical drawings. + Develop layout, plans, sections, elevations, and detail drawings. + Work closely with estimators, engineers, and project managers to ensure drawings are accurate and meet project requirements. + Participate in project meetings and provide input on design and technical issues. + Revise drawings based on feedback and ensure all changes are implemented correctly. + Maintain organized files and records of all CAD drawings and project documentation. + Ensure all drawings adhere to company standards and industry best practices. + Update and maintain CAD standards and templates as needed. + Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with specifications. + Identify and resolve any design or drafting issues in a timely manner. + Conduct site visits as necessary to verify measurements and gather data.
