CDL-B Driver

TITLE: Ft. Cavazos (Hood) Compost Facility CDL B Licensed Driver Full-time

DESCRIPTION: Mohawk Valley Materials, Inc., headquartered in Rome, New York, is seeking an experienced CDL B Licensed Driver to join our successful and growing team. Our driver will operator a commercial waste collection truck following an established route to pick up waste, dump collected waste, prepare waste for processing and monitor the composting process.

Job Duties:

Job Requirements:

· CDL B Driver's License

· Reliable attendance

· Ability to work independently and within a team

· Ability to work safely

· Ability to work outdoors in extreme temperatures and other unusual elements, such as loud noise, dirt, dust, fumes, etc.

· Ability to follow standard operating procedures

· Ability to work overtime and weekends as required

· Ability to manage and submit job-related records

· Ability to conduct equipment maintenance checks

· U. S. Citizenship

· Knowledge of OSHA and other applicable safety requirements

Desirables:

· Clean driving record

· OSHA 30-hour training

· OSHA 40 (HAZWOPER) training

· Basic First Aid/CPR
