CEI Inspector

Position overview:

Halff is seeking a CEI Inspector in the Tallahassee region. to act as our company representative on construction sites.

Experience:

The ideal candidate will bring 2 years of hands-on experience in construction inspection. One (1) year of bridge and/or roadway construction, preferably.

Key Requirements:

CTQP Final Estimates Level 1

CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level 1

CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level 1

CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level 1

CTQP Pile Driving Inspection

CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection - Required for inspection of all drilled shafts including miscellaneous structures such as sign, lighting, and traffic signal structure foundations.

IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level 1

FDOT Intermediate MOT

Nuclear Radiation Safety

Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Training and Certification Program for Inspectors and Contractors.

Abilities/competencies:

Communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing)

Receiving general supervision from assisting the Senior Inspector in the performance of their duties.

Qualifications/Certifications:

May be obtained within 6 months from the date of hire provided that the position works under the supervision and direction of a Senior Inspector or Senior Engineer Intern.

Educational requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent
