What You’ll Be Doing
•Lead end-to-end development of electromechanical aerospace systems (motors, gears, actuators, powertrains)
•Manage engineering project execution, budgets, timelines, and performance milestones
•Oversee system design, prototyping, testing, and supplier coordination
•Guide engineering staff, support technical reviews, and ensure design verification
•Serve as the voice of engineering in cross-functional strategic planning and product development
What You Bring
•Extensive hands-on experience designing mechanical assemblies: gear trains, drive systems, actuators, motors, etc.
•Track record managing complex product development projects in aerospace or electromechanical systems
•Familiarity with DO-160, MIL-STD, or similar aerospace testing and qualification standards
•Strong proficiency in SolidWorks, FEA tools, and engineering analysis
•Proven ability to drive process improvements, design reviews, and change management
•Comfortable mentoring teams and representing engineering at the leadership level
