Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 1 Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and excellent customer service. The Truck Driver will operate various types of vehicles.
Responsibilities
•
Safely operate trucks to transport goods to designated locations.
•
Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
•
Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and local regulations regarding transportation.
•
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and cargo details.
•
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
•
Perform basic automotive repairs as needed or filling our maintenance request form to ensure the vehicle is in optimal working condition.
Experience
•
Have experience in Oilfield Trucking for a minimum of 3 years.
•
Familiarity with automotive repair techniques is preferred.
•
Experience with local roads and the area surrounding Fort St. John
•
Strong understanding of safety protocols related to transportation and heavy equipment operation.
•
Quad Wagon Experience - Preferred.

Pay: $35.00-$42.00 per hour
