As our company continues to grow, we are seeking a professional, experienced Class A CDL Dump Truck Driver to become a key part of our field operations team.
This role is more than just driving—it’s about being an integral part of our crew. The right candidate will be motivated, safety-conscious, and ready to contribute to all aspects of the job, including material hauling, equipment transportation, and occasional on-site assistance.
As a CDL Dump Truck Driver, you’ll operate a dump truck (with trailer) to transport a wide range of materials and heavy equipment to and from various job sites across the region. This position demands more than basic driving skills—it requires someone who can plan routes efficiently, ensure loads are secure, and navigate active construction environments. You’ll regularly interact with site supervisors and crew members, making communication and reliability essential.
Key Responsibilities
•Operate dump truck and trailer to haul gravel, asphalt, soil, pipe, and other construction materials.
•Load and transport heavy equipment (excavators, skid steers, etc.) to and from job sites.
•Deliver materials to multiple sites daily, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
•Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance checks on truck and trailer.
•Secure loads properly, using chains and binders when necessary.
•Collaborate with crew leaders to coordinate drop-off and pickup times.
•Assist crews on job sites as needed, including physical labor such as moving materials or assisting with setup.
•Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies without exception.
•Navigate to job sites using GPS or pre-planned routes while maintaining awareness of traffic, load limits, and access constraints.
Required Qualifications
•Minimum 4 years of experience operating a dump truck with trailer.
•Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.
•No major violations in the past 3 years (e.g., DUIs, reckless driving).
•Strong understanding of DOT compliance, logbook requirements, and hours of service.
•Ability to load, secure, and transport heavy machinery safely.
•Willingness to work outside of the truck as part of a field crew.
•Physically capable of performing labor tasks and working in tough environments.
Preferred Qualifications
•Prior experience in the sewer, stormwater, utility, or site development industries.
•Familiarity with materials used in underground utility construction (pipe, stone, concrete).
•Ability to operate additional equipment such as backhoes, skid steers, or mini-excavators.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
•Ability to sit for long periods while driving.
•Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs and performing strenuous tasks like climbing, lifting, securing loads, and handling materials.
•Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, on active and uneven job sites.
•Flexibility to work long hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and some Saturdays as required.

Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
