New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG), a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources is seeking a Clerical Assistant III to provide administrative and clerical support to the gas control department, assisting with the day-to-day operations and ensuring the smooth execution of departmental activities.
Major Responsibilities:•Sort, distribute, and manage incoming and outgoing mail to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
•Maintain and organize physical and digital filing systems for efficient document retrieval and record keeping.
•Manage and coordinate schedules and appointments across multiple calendars to optimize time and resource allocation.
•Plan and arrange travel itineraries, including transportation and accommodations, while managing reservations and preparing expense reports.
•Prepare monthly activity reports including but not limited to: pipeline variance, LNG inventory, SCADA, digital communication network, RTUs/field instrumentation equipment, training, manuals, gas control capital and O&M expenses.
•Maintain records of department department absences, ensuring accurate tracking of time off, sick days and other leave types.
•Order and maintain office supply inventory; coordinate service, replenishment and maintain office equipment and repairs to ensure smooth daily operations.
•Responsible for preparing and processing all gas control purchase orders and work orders: obtain proper documentation (bid summary and insurance information), enter into system and process invoices.
•Responsible for gas control telemetry electric and phone bills; entering totals in spreadsheet by circuit number.
•Any other duties and responsibilities determined appropriate by gas control supervision.
Position Requirements:
•Must possess a high school diploma or the equivalent.
•0-2 years of relevant experience is required.
•Should be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, JDE system, and AS400.
•Must be well organized, self-motivated with ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines.
•Excellent organizational and communication skills required.
•Can work independently, as well as, with the gas control team.

Other Details:
Compensation: Expected base pay range for this role will be $46,700- $59,700.
Base pay is based on several factors including, experience, skills, and knowledge.
This role will be eligible to participate in an annual short term incentive program.
