Summary
As a CMM Programmer/Operator at Calypso, you will be instrumental in ensuring precision and quality in manufacturing processes. This role requires a strong foundation in software development, along with premium skills in web and application development. You will leverage relevant technologies such as SQL, AWS, and JavaScript to optimize measurement systems. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and uphold the highest standards of accuracy. Your expertise will be vital in driving continuous improvement within our dynamic environment.
Job Description & Responsibilities
•
Ability to create Programs using Zeiss Calypso.
•
Measure Components /Gauges.
•
Generate Layouts and Inspection Plans.
•
Maintain the Gauge Calibration Program and conduct MSA
•
Participate in APQP as required.
•
Assist the Quality Manager in Projects
•
Travel to Customers facilities as required.
•
Problem Solving & Resolution
•
New Part Validation, PPAP & Revalidation.
•
Review and improve existing programs.
QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE:
•
CMM programming (Zeiss Calypso) experience.
•
Good knowledge of G D&T
•
5 years' experience in the automotive industry.
•
Knowledge of APQP, PFMEA, SPC
•
Familiar with metrology, measuring instruments
•
Strong Project Management & PPAP preparation skills.
•
Good Computer & Blueprint reading Skills
•
Engineering Degree with CQE
•
Six Sigma yellow belt certified preferred.
