Specific Responsibilities & Essential Job Functions

•

Operate machines according to specifications.

•

Accurately and proper feeds/speeds for material.

•

Read drawings to machine various materials and parts.

•

Set-up and run machinery within given programming requirements.

•

Ability to read a tape measure accurately.

•

Understand shop tolerance and code requirements.

•

Complete tasks in an acceptable timeframe and take pride in your work.

•

Maintain a clean and safe work area.

•

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

•

High School Diploma or GED Certificate.

•

Attention to details.

•

Operate a variety of machine shop equipment, CNC, grinder.

•

Can read and interpret blueprints.

•

Can follow processes and procedures.

•

Adaptable to different environments.

•

Function effectively as part of a team.

•

Clean pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.

•

Clean background screening that includes previous employment, education, criminal history and driving record verification.

Occasionally use of ladders and lifts, some climbing required.

Position requires walking and standing the majority of the time.

Occasional kneeling and stooping.

Hours outside of scheduled shift will be necessary as workload dictates. This may include weekends.
