Job Description

Larson Systems Inc is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer with experience in GibbsCAM to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating CNC machine programs for various machining processes, including milling, turning, and multi-axis operations, using GibbsCAM software. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of CNC programming principles, manufacturing processes, and a solid grasp of GibbsCAM to optimize efficiency and accuracy in production.

Responsibilities:

CNC Programming: Utilize GibbsCAM software to generate toolpaths and CNC programs for machining parts based on engineering drawings, 3D models, and specifications.
Machine Setup: Collaborate with machinists and operators to define machine setups, tooling, and fixture requirements.
Toolpath Optimization: Analyze machining operations and optimize toolpaths for efficiency, cycle time reduction, and part quality.
G-Code Generation: Write, modify, and post-process G-code programs for CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and other machining equipment.
Troubleshooting: Resolve programming or machining issues that arise during production, ensuring smooth operations.
Part Simulation: Perform simulations using GibbsCAM to ensure accurate toolpath creation and prevent potential collisions or errors.
