Job Overview:
Premier Earthworks is seeking a hands-on, experienced Working Superintendent to lead field operations for earthwork and utility installation projects. This role requires both field supervision and physical involvement in daily site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Oversee and participate in the daily operations of earthmoving and underground utility crews.
•
Manage on-site personnel, subcontractors, equipment, and materials.
•
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and inspectors to ensure job specifications and schedules are met.
•
Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings.
•
Monitor quality control and address issues proactively.
•
Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and specifications.
•
Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and environmental requirements.
•
Maintain accurate records of job progress, personnel hours, and equipment usage.
Qualifications:
•
Minimum 5 years of experience in earthwork, utilities, and site development.
•
Proven leadership experience in a supervisory or foreman role.
•
Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation and utility installation.
•
Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
•
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
•
OSHA 30 certification preferred.
•
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
