Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Garage Door Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of garage doors and related systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a variety of environments.
Duties
•
Install and repair commercial garage doors, openers, and related hardware with precision and care.
•
Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal functionality of garage door systems.
•
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with commercial garage door mechanisms, providing effective solutions.
•
Utilize tools safely and efficiently for installation and repairs.
•
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service throughout the service process.
•
Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used during each job.
•
Adhere to safety protocols while working on-site to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
•
After 90 day introductory period eligible for 10% increase to hourly wage.
Experience
•
Proven experience in commercial garage door installation and service.
•
Familiarity with power tools, welding, metal stud framing, caulking, electrical systems, and heavy lifting is beneficial.
•
Strong mechanical skills with an ability to learn new techniques quickly.
•
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
•
A valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites as needed.

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
