Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Pump Operator/Driver to operate and drive concrete pump trucks, ensuring the efficient delivery of concrete to various construction sites. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and safely.
Responsibilities:
•
Operate and drive a concrete pump truck to deliver concrete to construction sites.
•
Ensure the proper setup and positioning of the pump equipment for each project.
•
Monitor and maintain pump performance to ensure smooth operation.
•
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment.
•
Assist in the preparation and delivery of concrete to meet project specifications.
•
Adhere to all safety procedures and policies, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
•
Communicate effectively with project managers, crew members, and clients to ensure job site efficiency and safety.
•
Maintain accurate records, including work logs and delivery tickets.
•
Perform minor maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
•
Valid CDL (Class A or B) driver’s license.
•
Proven experience operating concrete pumps or similar heavy machinery.
•
Strong understanding of concrete pump operations and maintenance.
•
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
•
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•
Ability to follow safety procedures and ensure a safe working environment.
•
Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends if necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 per week
