Schedule cranes, trucks, and associated personnel for efficient execution of the work.
· Maintain and update the dispatching/scheduling calendar continuously to ensure efficiency.
· Work with sales staff to schedule work.
· Input jobs into the schedule from sales job sheets.
· Receive customer calls for new jobs and input work into the fleet.
· Coordinate and communicate with customers on a daily basis.
· Apply for blanket permits and single-trip permits; track bridge restriction forms for blanket permits.
· Conduct pre-work meetings with operators and truck drivers to ensure a full understanding of the work, sales paperwork, lift plans, and schedule.
· Monitor and direct the flow of equipment using accurate directions, traffic status checks, and suggested detours communicated to drivers.
· Track and monitor the status and availability of equipment.
· Work closely with the Director of Safety to ensure safe work practices are followed.
· Work cooperatively with the Director of Safety to investigate all related incidents/accidents.
· Coordinate with the Shop Foreman and follow up on necessary equipment repairs.
· Coordinate with the Yard Manager when additional personnel are needed in the yard.
· Distribute paychecks to operators, oilers, and truck drivers.
· Schedule cranes and trucks for affiliate companies.
· Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to multitask.
· Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skills.

· Must possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving record.
· Use logic, reasoning, and relative costs to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.

· Must be "problem-sensitive"—having the ability to recognize when something is wrong or could potentially go wrong.
· Graduate of an accredited trade school or a bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred; or an equivalent of three years of experience in a progressively responsible leadership position; or an equivalent combination sufficient to perform the main job tasks and responsibilities of this position.
· Minimum of five years of experience in the construction industry with a thorough understanding of the processes and procedures relevant to commercial and industrial construction.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, walk, sit, and use hands to operate a computer keyboard and telephone.
· The employee must have visual acuity sufficient to operate a motor vehicle and digital camera, as well as other equipment.
· The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
· The employee will frequently be required to climb ladders, climb upon and down from large construction equipment, trucks, forklifts, and similar equipment without assistance.
· The employee is required to reach with hands and arms, balance, and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
· Must be able to prove U.S. employment eligibility.
· Ability to pass a formal background check.
· Must possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record for the past three years.
· Ability to communicate with others both orally and in writing. Must be clearly understood and have a good command of the English language.
· Business must be conducted with the highest level of personal integrity.
