Construction Equipment Technician

Family-owned mining company looking to hire a Heavy Equipment/Dump Truck Mechanic for our 3 locations: Eagle Creek Rock, Carver Rock, and Yoder Quarry. REQUIREMENTS:

-Must be able to work on their own and require minimal supervision

- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and CDL is a plus

- Troubleshoot equipment, diagnose, and repairs

- Inspect vehicles/equipment for wear & damage

- Perform preventative maintenance and inspection

- Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel engines and hydraulics

- Welding and fabrication is a plus

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Perform service maintenance for construction equipment, dump trucks & components such as engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, electrical, computer, etc.

- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and provide quality repairs on construction equipment, dump trucks and Rock Crusher.

- Perform tasks from verbal/written instructions and communicate effectively with other employees

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
