Construction Project Manager/Estimator Civil Construction/ Excavation and Utilities

Responsibilities:

Estimate and prepare bids

- Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish

Degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred, not required)

- 5 yrs. proven experience in ESTIMATING and project management for commercial site EXCAVATION, UTILITY WORK, ROAD BUILDING work

- Strong knowledge of CIVIL construction methods, materials, and processes

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Strong communication and leadership abilities

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents

- Proficient in use of Agtek, Paydirt, HCSS, Omanco Proest or similar estimating and quantity take off software

This position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. The successful candidate will have a track record of successfully managing construction projects from conception to completion.

This job pays a fixed % of the profits to the estimator/project manager with increased profit sharing for projects that exceed the original bid amount of profit.
