Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Safety personnel to oversee safety protocols and ensure compliance on our construction sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring safety programs that promote a safe working environment for all employees. This role requires strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of construction safety regulations, including OSHA standards.

Duties

Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs tailored to construction site needs.

•

Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

•

Provide training and resources to workers on safety practices, risk management, and emergency procedures.

•

Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety into all aspects of construction management.

•

Maintain records of incidents, accidents, and near misses; analyze data to improve safety practices.

•

Liaise with regulatory agencies regarding occupational health standards and workers' compensation claims.

•

Stay updated on industry trends, NEC codes, and EHS regulations to ensure best practices are followed.

Experience

•

Proven experience in construction management or a related field with a strong focus on safety.

•

Familiarity with construction management software to track compliance and safety measures.

•

In-depth knowledge of risk management principles as they apply to the construction industry.

•

Experience working directly on construction sites with an understanding of the unique challenges they present.

•

Certification in Occupational Health and Safety or similar qualifications is preferred.

•

Strong communication skills to effectively engage with workers at all levels regarding safety protocols.

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
