Construction Superintendent

Leading and managing the on-site construction team, including subcontractors

Coordinating and overseeing all work on site

Attending weekly production and scheduling meetings

Working with safety personnel, ensure compliance with health and safety standards

Ensure compliance with quality standards

Monitor and report on project progress

Following the project schedule to ensure deadlines are met

Ensure contractors are complying with applicable codes, standards and permit requirements

Liaising with inspection authorities regarding approvals

Ensure job site remains safe, clean and orderly

Resolve on-site issues and emergencies

Maintaining records for site personnel such as daily field reports, field orders and RFIs

Minimum of 10 years of experience supervising construction projects in utility/ solar.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field is desirable, but not required

Knowledge of quality, safety and health guidelines for construction job sites

In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes

Proficiency in MS Office applications, including MS Project and Word

Ability to interpret and build according to drawings, specifications and other documents

Valid driver’s license with a driving record in good standing required

Must meet physical requirements for driving (pick-up truck), lifting and carrying equipment/mechanical components (up to 50 lbs. unassisted), hand excavation/digging (using shovels/picks), carrying and climbing ladders, operating and working from man lifts, operating electric tools, (drills, saws, etc.), using hand tools, (screwdrivers, wrenches, hammers, etc.), and providing services under various weather conditions
