Renovation by Design serves the Spokane-Coeur d'Alene area with custom commercial and residential building and remodeling, performed at a high level of excellence. We’re looking for an enthusiastic entry-level construction worker to join us in building people’s dreams.

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Entry-Level Construction Worker to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone eager to start a rewarding career in construction, with opportunities for growth and advancement. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of experienced professionals, assisting with a variety of tasks related to custom building and remodeling projects. No college degree is required—just a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a drive to excel.

Key Responsibilities

•

Assist with construction and remodeling tasks at every stage of construction, including prep, demolition, framing, flooring, and finish work.

•

Safely operate hand and power tools under supervision.

•

Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment to job sites.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring job sites are safe and tidy.

•

Follow instructions from supervisors and implement constructive feedback to improve skills.

•

Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.

•

Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to client specifications.

Qualifications and Requirements

•

Valid Driver’s License: Must have own reliable transportation to job sites in the Spokane-Coeur d'Alene area.

•

Physical Capability: Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds regularly and perform physically demanding tasks.

•

Professional Demeanor: Demonstrate respect, reliability, and a positive attitude in all interactions.

•

Attention to Detail: Keen eye for quality and precision in construction tasks.

•

Willingness to Learn: Openness to training and developing new skills in construction and remodeling.

•

Receptiveness to Feedback: Ability to accept and act on constructive criticism to improve performance.
