Contract Coordinator

We are searching for a Contract Coordinator on behalf of our client. This is a 1 yr. contract assignment. (W-2) The person will be joining the Central Maintenance Special Projects – Catastrophic Action Team. The role of a Contract Coordinator is pivotal in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects. The person will be traveling across the contiguous US at various wind sites

Projects are typically construction projects ranging from civil work (civil excavation, concrete foundation pouring, earth-moving) to structural (wind turbine disassembly/reassembly/commissioning, crane construction, heavy equipment usage).

The Contract Coordinator plays a critical role in the success of construction projects. By adhering to these responsibilities and expectations, the coordinator will ensure that all contractual obligations are met, risks are managed effectively, and the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Contract coordinators are also expected to attend all job-related meetings such as “Pre-Job Safety Briefings,” “Job Plan Meetings,” “End-of-day Meetings,” and so on.

The person is performing work according to a defined Scope of Work. Along with this scope of work, (as defined in our bid packages and purchase orders) to provide daily Job Plans/Statements of Work, which describes the milestones to be done that day and the general steps required to perform the work.

Site Requests

Each wind site may have their own specific requirements on communication between the site and the 3rd party vendor. You are expected to establish a base of communications with the Site Leader and determine with them things such as:

Provide daily reports/photos

•

Locking of gates/doors

•

Special safety/environmental/landowner considerations

Vendor Requests

As a job progresses, vendors may request support from the site (for turbine-specific technical assistance), borrowing of equipment, or use of O&M facilities. You are the primary point-of-contact for these requests and have the authority to relay these requests to the appropriate party (site leader, project manager, etc.) as needed.
