Job Description: Crane Operator (Coal Mining)

Salary Range: $11,000 - $13,000 per year

Responsibilities:
- Operate cranes used for lifting and moving heavy materials in the coal mining industry
- Handle equipment controls to lift, position, and place materials, such as coal, in designated areas
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of cranes, following all relevant safety regulations and protocols
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure its proper functioning and report any malfunctions or damage
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure operations run smoothly
- Adhere to production schedules and meet performance targets

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid crane operator certification
- Basic understanding of crane operations and safety procedures
- Ability to work in a physically demanding, outdoor environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays if necessary
