CTS Principal Engineer- Cast

Hydro Aluminium Metal is a leading supplier of extrusion ingots, sheet ingots, foundry alloys, wire rods and high-purity aluminum with a global production network of around 5,000 employees. With primary metal production facilities in Europe, Canada, Australia, Brazil and Qatar, and recycling facilities throughout Europe and in the U.S., two-thirds of our primary aluminum production is based on renewable energy.

Job Location: Rosemont, IL or Cassopolis, MI

Salary Range: $155,861 to $174,663

Job Summary:

CTS work would consist of executing technical services programs towards customers to ensuring Hydro Aluminum Metals NA is the preferred supplier for all their value added and regular high quality metal needs.

+ New and optimized alloy needs for the customer + New opportunities and new products + Plan and execute CTS program with head of CTS and sales managers + Assist the sales team with technical expertise + Offering extensive support on metallurgical matters. + Tailor-make services to general extrusion customers + Be the communication link between customer needs and requirements towards the production units – casthouses. + Customer requirements of the product + Continuous improvements and new product offering + Maintenance of product quality and market quality demands
