We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assembly Technician to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling components and products with precision and efficiency while adhering to safety standards. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work individually and as a team.
Associates are expected to have excellent attendance, strong attention to detail, a professional demeanor and the ability to produce high quality work. Candidates must be comfortable with a computer and with Microsoft Office products and have the ability to read and follow detailed schematics. This role uses hand tools, rather than machining.
This role is a salary role (not hourly) with a quarterly bonus, with overtime available.
The production team is a group of professionals who are responsible for assisting in the development of solutions by planning and executing the assembly for the customer.
The technician will be part of the production group and will build customer assemblies using hand tools, and automated equipment as training and experience dictates. The candidate will work independently, but also as part of a team to finish tasks when required. The candidate must be able to provide quality work in a safe and efficient manner.
· Uses various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
· Maintains logs, records, and reports concerning production, machines maintenance, and product inconsistencies.
· Maintains equipment and performs basic repairs when needed.
· Inspects work to specific testing and quality standards.
· Maintains a safe, clean and organized work environment.
Virtual and hands-on training is provided through Swagelok on all products, approved assembly and quality control methods.
· Ability to take initiative and willingness to learn new skills.
· Basic computer skills (search files, record information)
· Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
· Strong work ethic and ability to collaborate within a team.
