About This Job

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers to deliver goods to designated locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to navigate routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations. All of the routes will be local, and we promote weekday work only so you can enjoy your weekends!

Responsibilities

•

Operate and drive various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, in a safe and efficient manner.

•

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.

•

Load and unload cargo using forklifts or manual handling techniques as required.

•

Follow designated routes for deliveries while maintaining schedules.

•

Maintain accurate logs of hours worked, mileage driven, and deliveries made.

•

Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to commercial driving.

•

Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status and any issues encountered on the road.

•

Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the truck.

Requirements

•

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for truck operation (e.g., tanker).

•

Proven experience in truck driving or delivery driving with a strong safety record.

•

Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles effectively.

•

Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems.

•

Experience operating forklifts is preferred but not mandatory.

•

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

•

Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.

•

Spanish fluency a plus
