We are currently looking to hire ASAP for the position of a warehouse & delivery driver. Your duties will consist of receiving and logging shipments, help track shipments, loading the box truck for customer orders and transfer of products amongst other various other warehouse duties. You will be making deliveries to our other warehouses in RI, CT and MA along with job site deliveries.

Job Title:

Delivery Driver/Warehouse Staff

Responsibilities:

•

Make deliveries to or from customers, vendors, or other branch locations in our company box trucks

•

Ensure the proper paperwork and corresponding product makes it on the truck to deliver to our customers and branches

•

Pick customer order tickets and company transfers and check orders/transfers to be sure they’re correct and good to go

•

Learn to use warehouse equipment such as a pallet jack, two and four-wheel carts and a forklift

•

Merchandise and stock product on displays and in self-service areas

•

Efficient and effective loading and unloading of trucks

•

Process third party outbound shipments to customers such as UPS, FedEx and freight carriers

•

Inspects materials according to instructions and reports damaged goods

•

Process inbound materials to the warehouse. Compares quantities shown on packing slip or manifests with actual items received

•

Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code

•

Ensures materials are placed in the designated area within the warehouse

•

Stacks skids or pallets in designated area. Cleans up and disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping and places in proper container or designated area

•

Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping racks, shelves, pallet area, workstations and counter area neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

•

General housekeeping: sweeping, mopping, dusting, empty trash

•

Loads and unloads delivery truck with product securely-avoid damages

•

Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

•

7am to 4:30pm (hours will vary by day and workload)

•

Self-motivated, great customer service, and good communication skills

•

High level of attention to detail with strong organization skills

•

Accuracy and professionalism

•

Ability to obtain a 1-year DOT Medical Certification card and a valid Driver’s License.

•

Ability to drive a box truck (16ft-26ft)

•

Full Time Position with some required overtime

•

High school diploma or equivalent and minimum one-year experience

•

Able to pass a full background check and drug test

•

Must be able to lift at least 60+ pounds

•

Forklift certification is a plus but not required. We will get you certified if needed

•

Basic Computer skills
