Job Title: Desktop Support Analyst Location: Richmond, VA Duration: 9+ Months (Contract) Work Mode: 100% On-site, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Desktop Support Analyst to provide hands-on technical support. Key responsibilities include installing and upgrading software and hardware, diagnosing and resolving software and hardware incidents on Windows and Mac operating systems, and performing preventative maintenance on endpoints such as workstations and printers.

Key Responsibilities:

•

Conduct hands-on fixes and install/configure IT equipment.

•

Troubleshoot and repair conference room technology.

•

Use remote support tools for assistance and software updates.

•

Execute various refresh projects (laptops, mobile devices, printers).

•

Provide excellent customer service and manage difficult situations professionally.

•

Communicate technical information effectively to non-technical personnel.

•

Assist clients with applications, connectivity, and problem-solving.

Qualifications:

•

Strong troubleshooting skills in desktop operating systems (Windows, Mac, Linux).

•

Basic knowledge of networking, computer security, and server administration (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP).

•

Familiarity with Microsoft Office and email client configuration (Outlook).

•

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

•

Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.

•

Experience with VOIP systems is a plus.

Willingness to learn and support new systems and applications.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour
