About This Job

We are looking for a digital marketing intern to join our dynamic marketing team. You will have the opportunity to work with experienced marketing professionals while learning about existing tools and techniques used in digital marketing. A typical day in this role could include team meetings, individual work or assignments, brainstorming sessions, and/or special projects in corporate marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

•

SEO Optimization: Learn and implement basic search engine optimization techniques to improve web ranking of pages on NOV.com.

•

Market Research : Learn how to conduct research on various industries within NOV, competitors, and audience to make informed, data driven decisions on digital marketing activities.

•

Analytics and Reporting : Learn how to pull data and reports in google analytics to make recommendations and improvements to pages on NOV.com.

•

Web Editing: Learn how to work within NOV’s content management system to make edits to pages on NOV.com.

•

Content Creation: Learn how to create written and visual content used on NOV.com, and digital marketing ads and campaigns .

•

Paid Social: Learn how to create and manage social campaigns in LinkedIn and Google Ads.

Requirements:

•

Education: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.

•

Communications Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary for interacting with team members.

•

Analytical Skills: Ability to understand basic data and google analytics reports to make informed decisions and recommendations.

•

Creative Thinking: Collaborate with team members to come up with new ideas on improving content and engagement on NOV.com.
