Directional Drill Foreman

Summary

As a Directional Drill Foreman, you will oversee the operation of heavy equipment, particularly in horizontal drilling for underground utilities. Reporting to the General Foreman, your role is essential in ensuring efficient construction processes while adhering to safety standards. You will utilize your core skills in excavator and directional drilling operation, along with your premium mechanical knowledge and CDL A license, to lead your team effectively. REQUIREMENTS:

.Ability to lead and direct crew members

.Ability to be a team player

· Valid CDL A

· Experience with Direction Drills & Locating

· 2-4 Years Directional Drilling Experience

· Construction Experience or Underground Utility Experience

· Safety focused.

· Ability to follow instructions.

· Knowledge of utility depths and placement

· Willing to work outdoors in all types of weather (i.e. snow, rain, wind, etc.) if required

· Operate horizontal directional drill in accordance with maps or prints

· Lead crew to safely operate drill equipment on job site which may include, but not limited to, the following: Horizontal Directional Drill, Backhoe, Excavator, Truck (Hauling Equipment)

· Ability to effectively manage large directional drilling jobs, finding efficiencies and eliminate down time.

· Problem solving and solution focused leadership.

· May be required to work overtime; after hours; weekends; and emergencies as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $34.00 - $39.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
