Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the dump truck. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and a commitment to maintaining safety standards on the job.
Duties
•
Operate a dump truck to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and asphalt to various construction sites.
•
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
•
Load and unload materials safely, adhering to weight limits and safety protocols.
•
Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate deliveries and ensure project timelines are met.
•
Maintain accurate records of materials transported and delivery schedules.
•
Operate additional heavy equipment as needed, including backhoes, loaders, graders, and other machinery related to horizontal drilling and paving tasks.
•
Follow all safety regulations and company policies while on the job site.
Experience
•
Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
•
Familiarity with dump truck operations and maintenance.
•
Experience operating heavy equipment such as graders, loaders, backhoes, or similar machinery is preferred.
•
Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment is a plus.
•
Previous experience in construction or related fields is advantageous.
